Adobe to Share Creative Cloud, Photoshop Updates Next Week in Online Event

Adobe has a smattering of changes and updates coming to Photoshop and the Creative Cloud next week, and they are hosting a live online event to go over all of the expected changes. We’ve been given a sneak peak of what they’re going to cover and though we can’t specify yet, we can say that some of the updates are significant.

WHAT: Adobe will announce major updates to Adobe® Creative Cloud™ and Adobe Photoshop® during an online event called Create Now Live.

WHO: Adobe executives will be joined by creative innovators in the design and photography space, including:

              • Scott Kelby, chief executive officer, Kelby Media Group and president, National Association of Photoshop Professionals
              • Justin Weyers, producer, Made Visual Studio, who will share a behind-the-scenes look at the animation of Monte Python movies
              • Karlssonwilker founders Hijalti Karlsson & Jan Wilker
              • Cinthia Wen, creative director, NOON and chair, Graphic Design for California College of the Arts

              WHEN: December 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. PT.

WHERE: A live stream of the event will be available on the Creative Cloud Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/Sj0YBZ. Viewers can also join the conversation and ask questions live using the #CreateNow hashtag. The Create Now Livestream player can also be embedded on websites by grabbing the embed code from the video player share options within the Facebook Create Now app or from the Create Now Livestream page at www.livestream.com/adobe.

Registration is optional, but all registered participants will receive speaker updates, notices of special offers and a $300 promo code for early bird registration to Adobe MAX 2013. Additional information and free registration is available at http://www.adobeeventsonline.com/createevent.

Fingers crossed that my full purchase of photoshop (as opposed to the rental that is creative cloud) gets some awesome stuff.  Yep, feeling like a second rate citizen in the eyes of Adobe even though I’ve given them more money than the renters.

Let’s hope they extend it to a few more countries. UAE for example…
