Not only is this video hilarious, NSFW, cute, and lovable, but we also get an awesome look behind the scenes at the cameras and filmmaking techniques used to create it. Matt & Kim, you've knocked it out of the park on this one. Check out the video by clicking to the left, then check out the BTS video inside the post. Oh yeah, the song is super catchy too!

The BTS video, below, makes me believe that this was a ton of fun to make. I love the creativity involved, and it lends us a few great looks at the lighting, camera equipment, choreography and production that went into it. Whether you love this or hate this - to be honest, I'm sure this will be one of the most polarizing things on Fstoppers (I can hear the comments already: the video is crap, the music is crap, the video is genius, the song is genius...etc) - you have to admit that it's pretty effective given the simplicity of it all.

Yeah, video is alright, synchronized, well planned videos are still "hot" these days but on the technical side I'm very disappointed with the lighting plan. It doesn't take a genius to know that you need a fill light but it should never be casting it's own shadow in the opposite direction of the key! Sunlight only comes from one angle.

I'll be honest, I never even thought about the lighting while watching the video.

I think it was probably all just window light...

I think you might be falling into the trap of immediately trying to find something negative. Say you pause the video at 25 seconds. That lighting looks exactly like room lighting. There were reflectors on set, and extra lights, functioning to mimic white walls in a very spacious room, which is a good lighting feel because Matt & Kimm are basically dancing while dreaming. In my opinion, the lighting is actually one of, if not the strongest of elements in this video. By the way, you said the video is alright–you're definitely spot on there, It's Alright.

I love Matt and Kim. All of their music videos are fun and every single one makes me incredibly happy. Look up their Lessons Learned video where they strip through the streets of NYC. Or Daylight where they play their instruments in random parts of the city.

Man, I am so glad I work in a creative place. I am not sure I could work in an office where that video was not safe for work.

This sucks. Also the NSFW, thats just funny.

"knocked it out of the park"?? Ok then.

Where is the "hilarious" part of this video? Or did you mean ridiculous?

Maybe I am just being a stick in the mud, but I found that video boring as heck. After about a minute in I started scanning ahead, wondering when the funny/cool part was coming...it never did (at least for me it didn't).

I don't think it's crap, but I don't understand the point of it.

Don't try this at home with loaded guns (Pistorius)

That was hilarious. Syncrhonized Sleeping! I wonder if that could become an Olympic sport Other than the sexual overtones, I wouldn't call it NSFW. I didn't see any body parts that are NSFW.
