the only good reason to have m43 is to use the 7-14mm, the widest wide angle lens available for a camera that needs wide lenses like the BMCC. But how will I control iris with the passive mount ?

Nope. Much rather have a Nikon F mount. And maybe a camera that wasn’t so Apple-centric for file transfer, storage and post processing.

M4/3 is great because you can easily adapt just about any lens to it. But without electronic control, they’ve lost the ability to use actual Micro Four Thirds lenses that have electronic aperture and focus by wire. (Olympus 12mm, 45mm, 75mm, etc) Strange, strange decision.
