BTS with one of Fashions Most Influential Photographers, Raphael Mazzucco
I’m often asked who inspires me as a photographer when I shoot fashion. Although many names come to mind, one that stands out is the work of Raphael Mazzucco. Not only for the stunning images he creates but also for his simplistic and organic approach to photographing people, fashion, and emotion.
Combining photography, beautiful women, and art, Raphael has become one of the most influential photographers of our time. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Raphael started his career working for Calvin Klein and as a music photographer. Moving to Milan he began focusing more on fashion than sports. From there he was catapulted into a photographic journey any of us can only dream of. Working with major clients such as Victoria’s Secret, Sports Illustrated, GUESS, Ralph Lauren, and many more, he has made a name for himself as one of the most sought after photographers in fashion today.

One of Raphael’s most memorable projects was the End Of The Lion Project. In the Winter of 2010 he used the selling of his artwork to help protect the African Lion population which at that time there were only 30,000 lions in existence throughout Africa.
