Two weeks ago we asked you to submit your best "Featured Image" and the top three submissions would win a year of SquareSpace. We wanted to see what images you would use to entice visitors to your website. We got hundreds of entries, but after careful deliberation we narrowed them down to the top ten images we thought really brought a "pow" to the party. Now we leave it in your hands: vote for your favorite!
Owing to the success of our April POTD Contest, where we received over 1000 awesome submissions from readers all over the world, we are happy to now announce the contest for the month of May. We've teamed up with the guys over at Viewbug to give one lucky person a free copy of Peter Hurley's The Art Behind The Headshot. We're looking for the best examples of images showing photographers doing what they do. The winner receives a copy of the instructional DVD by renowned photographer Peter Hurley plus a feature in both the Fstoppers and Viewbug blogs.
Over the past few months, I've been looking at how we can improve our POTD feature to make it more, well, awesome. For a while now, we've been taking your submissions and combing through them to find some interesting shots. But we're going to change that up a bit. We're going to turn it into a contest format for a month, and the best shot takes home $100 at B&H for doing nothing more than sending us an image.

Sorry for the delay (holiday season tends to do that, as you can probably understand), but we are ready to announce the winner of the Lowepro Bag giveaway! We saw a lot of hopeless, sad and some of them downright confusing, entries to this contest, and judging it was a tough call. We're going to show you a few of our favorites, but to pick a winner Lowepro chose to select someone who made the most out of their bag-less situation.
We were talking with our good friends over at Lowepro, and decided to sneak in one more contest before Christmas. We're giving away Pro Roller Lite 150 AW, Pro Messenger 160 AW and a Lens Exchange 200 AW to one Fstoppers reader who needs them dearly. That's $570 worth of gear! Basically, we wanted to have you covered in any situation you might come across in the world of photography. To win, you just have to show us how bad your bag situation really is.
