Young Leibovitz Speaks About Her Work.http://fstoppers.com/young-leibovitz-speaks-about-her-work http://fstoppers.com/young-leibovitz-speaks-about-her-work#comments Sun, 10 Mar 2013 09:08:33 +0000 David Bickley http://fstoppers.com/?p=75884 Annie Leibovitz is, in my opinion, one of the only photographers that has managed to become a household name. She is so iconic that even people that don’t care about photography seem to know who she is. That’s why this video is so cool. In it we get to hear a young version of the 63 year old icon talk about her hopes for the future. [more]

Rare, Full-Color Photos from WWIIhttp://fstoppers.com/rare-full-color-photos-from-wwii http://fstoppers.com/rare-full-color-photos-from-wwii#comments Sat, 09 Mar 2013 16:25:45 +0000 Chris Knight http://fstoppers.com/?p=75786 March 8th is International Women’s Day, so we figured it was a good time to show some rare, color images from WWII…where women played an incredibly important role and came out in droves to support both the war effort and the economy. These were taken by Alfred T. Palmer, who was an Office of War Information (OWI) photographer for the United States from 1941 to 1943. It was during this time that he, along with other photographers working for the government, captured some 1,600 images. [more]
