Interview With Fashion And Lifestyle Photographer Mike Monaghan

I have never personally met Mike, however I can’t seem to get away from him. He definitely has some amazing shots that stand out from the rest of the crowd. I know Mike through a Facebook group called CREATIVOS, which is a group for photographers looking to share tips, tricks, and images and grow within the industry. I keep seeing his work pop up and can’t take my eyes away from it. [more]

A New Take On The 365 Project: One Second Of Video Every Day For a Year

Everyone who has ever taken any interest in photography has thought about attempting to take one picture a year in order to fuel creative growth or to create an interesting and varied body of work in a relatively short time span. Jonathon Britnell put his own spin on the 365 project (technically a 366) by shooting one second of video every day for a year and compiling into a very cool documentary look at his life over the last year. Stunning Snowboard Photography By Ben Birk

18 years ago this Christmas I received my first snowboard, and with that my first true love was born. I went from the age of 10 till 18 snowboarding as much as possible. The last 10 years have been a little more difficult as life consistently has landed me in places not nearly as conducive to snowboarding as growing up in NH was. That’s how I came to fall in love with photography, a lack of snowboarding. Today I was introduced to the work of Ben Birk, and I am now left with an ache in my hear that only the mountains can cure. Check out his work, and be sure to check out his portfolio and flickr!

More young people are getting into photography every single day. Luckly, not everyone with a phone and Instagram thinks they are photographers. Marcus Bitsch is one of those young kids who picked up a real camera and starting creating awesome images. The Inspiring 8 Second Exposure Project

To have an eye for fine art requires a special kind of talent. Nicolas Ruel does a fantastic job of creating unique photographs that capture the essence of a city in his “8 Seconds” project. For all of his images within the project, he sets the camera to an 8 second exposure and changes perspective mid shot. This lets him capture a layering effect in a single shot.

Wedding/Life Style Photography Of Omar Carter

Wedding photography to me, is the hardest form of photography. There are so many different elements you have to deal with on extremely shot notices. However from the looks of it, Omar has that taken care of. His wedding/engagement shots are different from anything I have seen. From old vintage looks to high fashion James Bond inspired shots, Omar does it all. [more]
