I’ve been using Adobe Lightroom rather intensely for several years now. Overall I’ve been quite happy with how the program streamlines my workload, organizes my photos, and how often it get’s an update. When Nikon released the D610, I’m sure that many of you (myself included) initially reacted with joy. “Hooray!” we said. “They’ve fixed the problem of the D600! Nikon made things right!” But then I let things sit for a few hours and I realized, Nikon did no such thing. They didn’t fix anything, no more than Canon “fixed” the T4i when they released the T5i. Most camera bags have a place to fit your tripod. It adds weight to your camera bag, but it keeps the tripod out of the way while being easy to grab if need be. After reading the comments on the Miley and Terry article I wrote the other day, it made me realize how many people are in the dark about Terry Richardson’s talent. I am a huge fan of Terry, mostly because he has an ‘I don’t give a damn’ attitude but he turns out some pretty glorious images when you aren’t paying attention. Most people when they hear the name Terry Richardson they think creepy, old, incredibly lucky photographer who gets to see a lot of boobs. But in reality he is highly talented and brought in millions last year for doing much more than mediocre white wall shots. [more]
Terry Richardson and Miley Cyrus are completely, as you’d say in middle school terms, MFEO. Or made for each other if you can’t remember that far back. They both have taken the spotlight and thrust it upon themselves by stepping out of the box and making people want to see whatever they’re going to do next.
