AP Photographer Dave Martin Passes Away After Football Game

Long time AP photographer, Dave Martin, passed away after suffering a heart attack during the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Georgia. After Texas A&M’s 52-48 win against Duke, Dave Martin ran onto the field and shot many celebratory shots before finally collapsing. He was administered CPR on the field before he was transported to Emory Hospital Midtown where he passed away Wednesday morning. [more]

The Most Important Setting in Lightroom is Set To Off By Default

“Trevor, I have been editing this wedding for the last few days and now my Lightroom catalog says it is corrupted! As the year comes to a close, I can’t help but think tax season is just around the corner. Taxes are surely my least favorite things to do, even worse than a root canal in my book. Behind the Scenes of the Oscars (Academy Awards) Trailer

Academy Awards season is swiftly coming and to get the buzz going a little earlier the Oscars have come out with a brand new trailer with talk-show darling Ellen DeGeneres and 250 dancing extras. The trailer was directed by Paul Feig who is best known for “Bridesmaids” and “the Heat”. It looks like they used an ARRI Alexa to film the trailer. It’s a fun and cute glimpse into what we can look forward to at this coming year’s Academy Awards show. [more]
