Live Twitter Chat with Photographer Polina Osherov on What It Takes to Build in a Small Creative Market

Today at 6 p.m. EST there will be a live Twitter chat with Russian-born, Indianapolis-based commerical photographer and Pattern Fashion Magazine creator Polina Osherov. The chat will cover a lot of ground, from the impact of recent trends in mobile on commercial photography to what it takes to build an international community from a mid-sized city like Indianapolis with virtually no budget to begin with. To participate in the chat, follow along at Element Three's Twitter account.

Most people probably don’t think “Indianapolis” when they think big names in fashion and commercial photography. It takes work to build a business and to build a brand with international appeal out of a mid-size city like Naptown. But that’s what Osherov has been able to do. As creative director and editor of Pattern Magazine’s biannual publication, Osherov has extended the story of the Indianapolis fashion, photography, and creative communities to a global audience.

It is quite the accomplishment in this market, and could be an outstanding learning experience for all those in the industry wanting to ask her about doing the same thing in their area that has a similar market.

To learn more about Osherov and her incredible background, along with information about her upcoming appearance at Go Inbound 2015 in Indianapolis, check out the link below!
