very nice video, for a very realistic scenario.

i have got to say tho, the iphone photoshoot is amazing because the end results are magazine/ gallery worthy. while the end results of this video are… a good start for beginners =)

                (please don’t hurt me! =p)

That is one of the best videos I have seen. “Nothing new”, but really entertaining!

                Thanks guys!!!

Nice video guys – funny and informative. Now I know what I’ve been missing on my shoots – a human flash stand :)

I shoot with the ishoots. They are pretty awesome IMHO!

                Thanks for highlighting our video!

A couple of you asked about the softbox. I actually went into detail about it, but it didn’t make the final cut. It’s the ALZO Porta Flash Speedlight Softbox. I bought it from Amazon for about $60. I wanted something really easy to setup and use. It comes with the bracket to hold the flash and attach it to a light stand.

Let me know if you have anymore questions. I plan on being quite active with this community.

Very inspirational, on such a low budget :) KEEP IT UP!

They could have done so much more with the location.
Why under expose the background so much in the first scenario? the light coming through the ceiling looks amazing. I think the shots need to be stronger to get the point of shooting on a budget across. The end results look like they were done on a budget.
