[Contest] Winner of Tamron Lens Giveaway

After two weeks, several thousand entries, many MANY pleading comments and messages, the time has finally come to reveal the winner of our Tamron lens giveaway! The winner receives the coveted Tamron 18-270mm Di II VC PZD lens for Sony, Canon or Nikon crop-sensor mount (winner’s choice). So… was it you?

Congratulations Hannah Morvay from Golden, Colorado! You are our winner! Expect a message from me in your Facebook messages inbox.

For the rest of you, all is not lost! You may not have won the lens, you can still save some money if you want to buy one. Starting today until the end of June, Tamron is offering a $100 rebate for this lens, which drops the price quite nicely.

For those of you curious as to why the image above looks a little different, it’s actually generated using a really sweet 3D 360 View found on B&H Photo. Pretty nifty, right?

Keep an eye out for more contests headed your way, and if you’re in the mood to win a Canon 5D Mark III or a Nikon D800, we are giving one of these away in our Fstoppers and SLR Lounge Nikon D800/Canon 5D MIII Giveaway. The more friends you get to enter, the better your chances!

Winner has one week to respond before forfeiting their prize.
