Nikon Mount In Stock For Sigma’s 35mm f/1.4 Lens

The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens is now available for your purchasing pleasure, refilling the stock that’s going fast. If you want it for your Nikon, you can get it now, and get it you should, because it’s freaking amazing.

              Basic info:

              • Aperture Range: f/1.4-16
              • Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM)
              • Floating Internal Focus System
              • Minimum Focusing Distance: 11.8″
              • Anti-Flare Super Multi-Layer Coating
              • Special & “F” Low Dispersion Elements
              • Front Filter Thread Diameter: 67mm
              • 9x Circular Aperture Blades
              • SIGMA Optimization Pro Software

Stop reading about it and just get it already. You won’t regret it. I can think of few better ways for a photographer to spend $900. Buy it. Buy it now! Seriously though, they’ll probably sell out of it soon.

you suckers only promote it so you get money from BH partner program.

The Nikon mounts always take longer than the Canon mounts amongst 3rd party lens manufacturers. Larger demand for 3rd party glass in the Canon camp. May as well make a blog post about it, drive that traffic, collect those ad dollars, and hit up the referral link while you’re at it.

What do you mean, just available?  I’ve had this lens for almost 4 months for my Nikon. I agree, it is amazing.

Hopefully us poor Sony shooters get some love soon. Really looking forward to this lens on my A99, it will be even more of a monster with stabilization.

Uhm, you’re welcome for the news?

I have been debating whether to purchase this lens to go along with the D800 I already own OR for 300 dollars more I can purchase a Fuji x100s… such a hard decision.

I dont get it, I work at a camera store and I’ve been selling the nikon one since January……

I have to look at FOUR ads, to get to a thinly veiled ad, as Jaron got the preferential treatment by Sigma, and now he’s their cheap corner hawker…

Maybe if you live in the US of BS this post seems legit.  To anyone else, this is just free PR for Sigma, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are paying him for this, but even more surprised if they aren’t (dance monkey, dance- from the simpsons comes to mind).

                Two words, “Ad revenue”

“I can think of few better ways for a photographer to spend $900.”
                Didn’t you forget a negation?

Trust me, I don’t get an preferential treatment from Sigma. ;)  (They did think I was the Jaron for F-Stopper once though which was quite humorous actually)  Either way, I just got the lens from B&H myself and it really is an awesome lens and, in my limited experience, B&H is a great company to work with so I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t promote either.

I’ve had this lens on my Nikon body since December. I’m not sure what is new and news about this. :(

              • Norman1AL

So I just received mine yesterday from B&H. I actually pre-ordered it from Amazon in Dec. but after a month of waiting, I received an email stating that they will not be able to obtain the lens and directed me to other sellers. So yeah I did wait for at least 3 months. Focus accuracy seems to be good even in low light and definitely sharp. I’ll be playing with it the rest of the afternoon and will actually use it for a wedding tomorrow.
