Who It’s For:

This lens is great for portraits as well as indoor sports.

What We Like: 

Very Wide Aperature: At F/2, this lens will be brilliant for low light photography as well as headshots.

USM Focus: Focus is fast and very quiet

Sharpness: This lens is incredibly sharp and a beautiful portrait lens

Size: This lens is fairly small and unassuming. You probably won’t get much attention with this on your lens.

What We Don’t:

Sharpness Suffers Using Extenders: Not that you’d use them, but it’s a thought.

Not A Close Focusing Lens: With a minimum focus distance of 3 feet, it’s not really the best out there, but it’s not necessarily bad. It all depends on what you’re using the lens for.
