I am so stoked about the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, I already own so much Blackmagic equipment I know their stuff is for the real world, from the HyperDeck Shuttles, to ATEM Broadcast Switchers, to their converters I love their stuff.

The ATTO desklinks are what caught my eye.. connecting 8Gb Fibre Channel to Thunderbolt or 10Gb Ethernet to Thunderbolt will make my transition from the Mac Pro to iMac much easier!

I’m actually most interested in the FCP X update. I’ve stayed loyal to FCP and will hopefully be able to go back up to the FCP X instead of 7. The visual layout and the ease of the tools help me out alot, but I’m hoping this new update will seal the deal.

Honestly I really wanna get my hands on the NEX FS700. That black magic looks great, but the sony will make my movies look exceptional without breaking the wallet. High end (meaning high $$$dolla dolla bill price tag) prosumer products may collect dust on shopping shelves this year. It is the new age of budget friendly cinema.

FCP X did have some big holes on release, but not anymore. It gets a lot more flack then it deserves due to Apples poor marketing strategy. Long live FCP X, it rocks!!
