Who It’s For:
This is for the person who doesn’t want to carry a bag of lenses around, if you only want one lens, and you have a DX camera, this is that lens.
What We Like:
Incredibly Zoom Range: The 11x zoom range of the 18-200 is the highest of any zoom lens I’ve encountered. If you’re looking for an all in one lens for your DX camera, this is it.
New VR: The VR in this camera is supurb, Nikon says it allows you to shoot three stops slower handheld and I believe it. It’s amazing at all focal lengths.
Silent Wave Motor: This lens is incredibly quiet while focusing unlike some of the older D lenses
Zoom Lock Switch: This is a great feature for a lens with such a wide zoom range.
What We Don't:
Price: At just under $900 dollars, you’d be better off buying the older version as the only difference is the zoom lock.
