This lens is a brilliant macro and portrait lens. So, if you need an excellent medium range telephoto for portraits and want the added flexibility of being able to focus incredibly close, this is a great lens for you.
What We Like:
Macro Capabilities: It’s a macro lens so this lens will focus very closely.
FTM Focusing: The front element doesn’t rotate or extend so it’s easy to use as a macro lens.
Sharp: It’s a very sharp so it’s great wide open.
What We Don’t:
Bokeh: Despite the being having an aperture of f/2.8, this camera just can’t stack up to it’s rival the 180mm Macro.
