Think Tank and MindShift recently released a number of notable new travel products for photographers including the rotation180 backpack, 2nd Brain laptop collection and PowerHouse organizers. Designed by photographers for photographers, their gear excels in functionality and durability. They are currently offering rebates on Rolling Camera Bags and Urban Disguise Shoulder Bags. Here are the details.

One of the more interesting photo gear travel solutions at Photo Plus was MindShift’s 180degree rotation backpack, a lightweight three-pound pack tailored to hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The new design feature is an integrated beltpack that can be rotated forward for easy camera access when in the field. The pack ships with a three-liter hydration bladder and can be ordered in charcoal or tahoe blue. The price comes in at $199 and will be available in January 2014. Accessories to the pack will include a Lens Switch Case that hooks into the beltpack, the Tripod Suspension Kit, a Panorama Photo Insert for expanding the carrying capacity and the Panorama Raincover.

Keeping your Apple laptop accessible and protected is not an issue with ThinkTank’s new line of My 2nd Brain laptop bag collection. Die-hard fans of Apple products will enjoy these four bags as they were engineered for specific Mac laptops or an iPad with accessory compartments for chargers, cables and adapters. A top pocket is engineered for an iPhone and there is strap pouch that secures ear buds. The 2nd Brain series is available in black, harbor blue and mist green and are priced at $74.75 for the iPad version, $84.75 for the 11 inch laptop version, $94.75 for the 13 inch version and $99.75 for the 15 inch version.

Another recent innovative product collection from MindShift’s parent company ThinkTank is the PowerHouse series of organizers. Traveling with power cords, USB, firewire, phone chargers and other miscellaneous laptop or iPad gear can be painful without a pouch to keep them organized and stowed. The Powerhouse series of clear cases are ideal for cords and chargers but can also be used for pocket wizards, tripod plates or accessories like penlights, Leatherman and headlamps. Available now, the PowerHouse Tablet is priced at $18.75, PowerHouse Air at $20.75 and PowerHouse Pro at $21.75.

Finally, ThinkTank announced several rebates today that are valid on Rolling Bags and Urban Disguise bags through December 31, 2013. If you purchase a Rolling Camera Bag, you receive $50 back with mail-in rebate and if you purchase a Rolling Camera Bag and Urban Disguise Shoulder Bag, you get $100 back with mail-in rebate.
