Who It’s For:
This is a beautiful portrait lens, and it’s defocus control system allows for it to have beautiful bokeh. If you need a lens for headshots or midrange portraits, this is the lens for you. It’s also very good for indoor sports or anywhere you have to have a fast shutter speed in low light conditions.
What We Like:
Defocus Control: This is a special feature for this lens alone that allows you to adjust the look of the bokeh in the background or foreground.
Sharp: This lens is tack sharp
Aperture: At f/2 this lens is great for low light conditions and indoor sports.
What We Don’t:
Price: There really isn’t much to complain about this lens, but at over a thousand dollars, this lens is a little expensive. That being said though, it’s definitely worth it and despite it’s price, if you shoot headshots or indoor sports, you need this lens.
