One of the best articles on this subject i have seen. I wish my school would adopt this so the student could give better constructive critiques then what i have seen in the past.

Thanks for this. It really helps me understand how to get constructive criticism. While I love to hear “great shot,” I am more interested in understanding how I can improve a shot.

I’d like to find out about that as well. I tried 500px recently, but its just full of “great shot!” and “nice pic, have a look at mine” in the comments…

The problem as I see it is that people don’t want critiques most times. They want a handjob. I’ve have had countless photos torn apart on a great forum and am extremely thankful for it.
