right after reading your post, i got a  eye-fi pro x2 and it is up and running with a pentax k-5,  reaching the “almost tethering” with aperture !!!

If anyone has any better suggestions, I’d sure appreciate it.

Using a Canon 5D Mark II, iPad 1, and ShutterSnitch.

But with the new Eye-fi Cards you actually don’t have to jailbreak anymore. New video explaining it coming soon :)
