The D4 looks sharper to me, but isn’t this supposed to be a camera test?

nikon does look sharper but the canon seems to have more a cinema feel to it

Jeeezzz, come on. Forget sharpness, forget depth of field- that’s all lens based.
Focus on low light noise and moire. ALL these sample videos need to shoot at brick walls or other tight patterns and MOVE the camera. Pointless to show us nature videos or tripod mounted city shots.
I also question how this “company” had both cameras this early.

As I was watching the two videos I immediately noticed the one on the left was sharper….As a Canon user, I looked down at the caption expecting it to be the video from the 1DX but was surprised to see it was the D4. Looks like Nikon may finally be catching up in DSLR video!

The Nikon looks sharper, but I question how he has both cameras, to do this test.

This all depends on default applied settings by the manufacturer. Anyone that’s actually competent with these cameras knows how easily these settings can be adjusted in camera to each look like one another. Hobbyists falling like flies to this shit as usual.
