D600 at $1500 .... from a Canon user perspective, Canon will have to drop the 5D mkII between $1500 to $1700 to answer for the D600 (assuming they have no plan or answer to make a cheaper model to compete)! Frankly, the current 5D mkIII is well over price for the little features that they have added to 5D mkII ..... with Sony's soon coming 24Mpx, 100+ AF points, SLT full frame, rumored A99 body, it will definitely force Canon to drop price of its 5D mkIII which has actually nothing much to shine about when compare to the coming A99 body! With the market showing weak supports to 5D mkIII, which at the point of writing are at 13th place in Amazon's best selling DSLR list, it is only a matter of time for Canon to save her pride and drop prices to remain competitive! So, everything seems very exciting in the coming months .... frankly, the more Full-Frame coming to the market, the better is for the end consumer like us :)

This is really an awesome piece of news ….
