[Tutorial] Shoot Motion/Multiple Images with Stroboscopic Flash

Do you have a Canon 580EX II or a Nikon SB900 kicking around? I bet you do. I also bet that many of you haven't taken advantage of their Multi/Stroboscopic Flash modes. Check out photographer R.J. Hidson's short video on how to use your flash's Multi Mode to capture multiple images in one frame.

Very cool.  I used a different technique in July 2011.  Multiple images create some very interesting photographs.

I did something recently along the same lines, using a slave flash on a D7000 in manual mode to trip profoto moonlights set up on optical triggers.

This has been done by Joe McNally so long ago... Can't find the video at the moment though
