Sarcastic Posters Show the True Life of a Photographer

Sarcastic Posters Show the True Life of a Photographer

Certainly you've seen them on Facebook and other social media avenues before. I’m talking about those oversimplified “I'm an artist, I don’t work for free” posters that photographers always have the desire to post and share. The people over at Shoppe Designs have decided that perhaps those are too polite, and built some with a little more sass and attitude.

My Fave - "Your camera makes really great photos" ... "Thanks. Your mouth makes really nice words."

sad, but true.

Everyone here seems to confuse sarcastic with sardonic.

Just love these. I can relate to a few of them from 'real life' experience. I won't say which ones, but about 3 ring a bell. Thanks for giving me a good laugh.

you wouldn't believe (ok, maybe you would if you are a photographer) how many times I have heard the sentence: "wow, that camera takes great pictures, I should get one myself" :D now I actually can answer them :) thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure I have dealt with every one of these. Including the goddamn wedding one two months ago. Let the face-ripping (and subsequent evil laughter) commence!

funny. true... sad too, but still funny.

My boss once told me my camera takes nice photos. I told him his hammer builds nice houses.

I had to tweet the link to this twice - just too funny! I've had clients ask me why their 12MP point and shoot cameras don't take the same kind of photos my 12MP D700 can - Once they stop worrying I don't have enough megapixels they're impressed by what I can do with so few :)

Awesome posters. I'd add one for photojournalists that said "What channel will this be on?"
"No channel, these are for the radio."

These are awesome.

Here's one I heard recently - Well of course it's easier for you than real artists

"Well of course it's easier for you to produce your art. All you have to do is push a button." I nearly clobbered the people who told me that.

Needs a "This will be great exposure for you" "People *die* of exposure, or are at least arrested for it".
