Sunsets are probably one of most photographed ‘subjects’ ever. Almost every photographer out there is shooting something related to sunsets here and there, and it doesn’t matter if its a pro shooter or just someone who started – beautiful sunset is just something that is hard to ignore. This week I bring you some of the best sunset images found on Flickr. Some are what you expect them to be, but some are very unique and surprising – Check them out.
From my experience as a photographer, dancers are the best models out there by far. I’ll always prefer shooting a dancer with no modeling experience, than someone who cant dance and have some experience. They Know how to move, how to control their body and positions. They have grace, and usually with them I get the best results. So to prove my point, this week I’m bringing you some of the best dancing photos found on Flickr – Check them out and tell us which are your favorites!
Levitation photography always makes me wonder how it would be if one day we’ll all get a special power that will allow us to levitate or fly around. This week i’m bringing you 15 of the most beautiful levitation photos found on Flickr – check them out and tell us in the comments which are your favorites.
As some of you may know, I started my photography career as a sport/basketball photographer, and I’m a big sports fan in general. This month is one of the craziest months in sports world-wide with March Madness, Champions League Quarter Finals, Euroleague Quarter Finals, and of course some really great NBA games – so I thought it’s a great time to do a post related to that topic: Athlete Portraits.
Clowns are usually known for making kids happy (or scared to death), and for smiling and laughing all the time. They are also known for being active and with a lot of good energy. But what happens when clowns go back home and back to reality?
Few years back I traveled with my family to Italy, where I captured one of my favorite images to date – random girl sitting on very old stairs. This week I decided share with you some great images where the stairs are the main object. Using the stairs makes me tired, but photographing them is a lot of fun. Check out the Full Post, and share with us some of your own stairs shots.

This week I decided to start by showing some of the most amazing revolution, protest and riot photos taken this year. As you all know 2011 was a year packed with protests: Egypt, Syria, Libya, Greece, Canada and the US are just a few examples, and social media outlets such as Flickr, Facebook and Twitter were used as tools of communication and for spreading the news around the globe. Some of the pictures posted on Flickr were used by newspapers and magazines, but I want to show you some of those photos that many of you may not have seen before. Lets begin!

A new video series by Smugmug featured underwater photographer, Sarah Lee. In it she talks craft and inspiration overtop of beautifully shot behind the scenes footage of her shooting in the Pacific. Back in April of last year we featured one of Sarah’s photographs in our Flickr Spotlight.
When shooting fashion, the last thing that comes to mind is probably using the scanner as your camera of choice. Henry Hargreaves decided to use this medium for this set. Although this concept is not necessarily new, it’s always fun seeing everyone’s interpretation with the medium. Included are also some behind the scenes shots of the process as well.
