This was shot in my kitchen in Astoria, Queens when I was there for work. I thought it would be interesting to have myself pinning myself against the counter. This was shot with a Nikon P7700 and two SB-900s. One to camera left close to the ceiling and one inside the lampshade on the table.

Hey Karthik! Apologies for not replying sooner. I haven't been on this site for ages. This shot took a really long time to set up. To get the detail, you need to light the shot. That's basically the key to most of my work. It's all about getting yourself and the scene with enough light so that everything can really pop. Also Photoshop it to pieces. :)
