As part of doing Movember this year I want to reinact a few famous portraits of men with moustaches.

So today I started with my favourite Salvador Dali portrait by Philip Halsman from the book he coauthored with Dali in 1954 called Dali's Mustache. The book consisted for 36 portraits showcasing Dali's surreal moustache.

No I dont have the pointy well groomed moustache like Dali more of the trucker or chopper Mo.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. The catch lights in the eyes were something I really wanted to make sure I replicated as close as possible. It's the eyes that drag me into the Dali portrait again and again.
