I apologize in advance for the off-topic comment.
I think that speaking of “3rd world countries” and not by their name, as I live on a “3rd world” country like Chile, I find it very offensive, and also by using phrases like: “shedding light on situations that would otherwise never be seen” sounds like if no one takes an impressive picture or writes a good article about this or any “3rd world problem that you won’t find here” related topic, people would never know about it?
I know there are people and NGOs aware of these problems, but to find this kind of talking on a big site like this, where collaborators are supposed to have college degrees or any other kind of superior formation?
I think this kind of talking must not appear here or any other site on the web.

That is really heart breaking.. If this is how they’re treated in health care facilities, I wonder how the community treats them. Really sad.
