if your doing a tutorial on an image, shouldnt that image be bigger?!?! I could barely see it even on full screen!

good to know its not just me that gets irritatingly short loading pauses on my mac when doing large curve masks.  It bugs me when the pause is like a split second... WHY!!!! If it was 20 seconds then it means its needed, but a split second, why even show me the bloody loading symbol.... Grrrr, rant over.
