Saving Eliza: Buy Prints From Industry Leaders To Save a 4-Year Old

About 2 weeks ago we told you the story of Eliza O’Neill, a 4-year old who was recently was diagnosed with a degenerative genetic disease called Sanfilippo syndrome. Without the right treatment Eliza won't make it in to her teens. This week, some industry leaders and known photographers donated their photos to raise more funds.

Just $2.5 million are standing between Eliza and a happy healthy life. OK, not 'just'. $2.5 million is a lot. But if each person gives a little, in the end it is very possible to reach that figure. Since our last post about her story, $378,000 were raised for the cause. A lot, but not enough.

This week industry leaders came together and donated one of their images to be sold as prints. All proceeds go towards Eliza's fund. You can find images donated by people we feature here regularly, such as Von Wong, Aaron Nace (Phlearn), Brooke Shaden, Rob Woodcox, Adam Elmakias and many others. Fstoppers is also represented and you can find Julia Kuzmenko and my own images for sale.

Wonderful cause!

I have no money to offer as times are tough, but I'd love to donate my photography for the cause. Is there any way to do that?

yes, visit this page and submit, if your photo is chosen it will be offered for sale, all profits I believe go to the fund: http://savingeliza.smugmug.com/Submit-A-Photo
