Behind the Scenes Images From the Set of the Batman Trilogy

Behind the Scenes Images From the Set of the Batman Trilogy

A couple months ago, we published some behind the scenes images taken for the poster designs prior to the release of The Dark Knight (we were later politely asked to remove those images). This week, we found more images, but these ones span the entire Batman trilogy. Instead of being taken in studio for the purpose of poster designs, these images actually show the filming of the three movies.

Cool photos for sure. Though the amount of Chroma Screen used is a bit upsetting to me :-

Why is it upsetting? I'm surprised they didn't use even more. The end product is great, regardless, though.

I don't know. I guess I'm just a loyalist to the real thing. I recently watched a YouTube video where it showed all these scenes shot at green screens, simple shots you'd never guess were Green Screened.

I guess I'm just a loyalist to the idea of getting it right in camera, instead of relying on computers for the end product.

I'm sure budget had a part to play.

Read 'The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy' and you'll be able to grasp just how real Nolan tried to make this movie, like Ryan said they could have used it a hell of a lot more. Plus it's not The Shawshank Redemption or something, it's Batman for god's sake, there's bound to be green screen.

Good to see these
