Time Traveler

This product shot is the result of hours of meticulous post production. I focus stacked about 35 frames and also manually masking areas to get the entire watch in focus. It required a lot of cleanup, when shooting macro, you will see every spec of dust imaginable.

Beautiful work, Brian!! The lights and shadows are superb!

Thanks Dennis!

Great detail. Hard work paid off.

Thanks Lorenzo!

Fantastic shot Brian.

Thanks Carlos!

Dude. Nice one. I like that it's not the typical 10:10 like we're used to seeing.

Thanks for noticing that small detail Tam! I wanted to switch it up a bit and I thought it fit the composition better.

This is perfect 100%. 35 frames to get final image, props to all your work and patience.

Thanks Vicente! I love the challenge in creating product photography. Every product has different characteristics, size, shape, texture, color, & form. And each product presents it's own unique challenges. This image was no exception.

Perfect, great job on your post work.

Thanks Tim, I really appreciate man!

Brilliant lighting. Looks lovely. You'd have a bit of an easier time of it though if you used a tilt shift lens. ;)

Thanks man! I'm not sure if the tilt shift lens would have let me get in as tight. I used a 100mm Macro lens. If anything I probably could have benefited from using a focusing rail. I moved the focus ring around manually, it can get very tedious very quickly

I'd like to read from those who didn't give this 5 stars. What is there not to like and what is there to improve?
I think it's a wonderful shot with perfect detail and a very soothing athmosphere to it! Great job!!

Thanks for the kind words David! I really appreciate it man :)
