Fully agreed! I’m very excited for this lens. After this it’ll definitely be time for me to upgrade to full frame!

I would be surprised if it was a third the price. From what I’ve heard canon losses money on every tilt shift lens they make. Mostly because the demand for them is not that high and they are difficult to build. But if I could get one for under $700 I would be all about it.

Samyang prices are slowly creeping up as they get better and more popular. I’m betting it will be 2/3 the price of the CaNikon equivalents. Any more and too many people will spring for the difference. Hoping for 1/3 the full price of lenses is probably a recipe for Samyang to go out of business – and we don’t want that.

Who knows, but the Samyang 35mm 1.4 is certainly on par with the Nikon 35mm 1.4. It handles some stuff better than it, even. And it’s 1/3 of the price.
