One day, like HDR, “over processed” images will be looked down upon, or at least unfavored. It’s just a fad, and eventually these clients will realize what a waste of money they are.

At least that’s what I’d hope. Nothing against Blair’s usual style, but this is a little bit too overprocessed for my tastes.

lets put it this way, Rex. if you are critiquing a photo ask yourself these questions … (1) was i asked for my critique? (2) is my critique going to help grow or advance the artist? (3) was I asked for my critique? (4) was I asked, ever, at anytime for my critique?

No but comments such as “Too bad the picture was way over-processed. Never had a chance at looking real” aren’t very constructive, nor are actually considered a “critique” if you ask me since its a matter of opinion.

No one said you have to blow smoke up the guy’s *ss about the photo being perfect but opinionated statements like that above don’t help in any form of a critique to be honest.
