Hmmm… but continuing with the hints, I actually though of an recently released but not yet selling mirrorless camera, with no anti-aliasing filter. But I just find their variety of lenses lacking. Even though the sensor really does kick a**%ss.

The EM-5 is a great option and one of the top contenders. I’m sure you’d be happy with it. I say hold it in your hands alongside some others and do what feels right, given you’ve done the research on image quality beforehand.

Personally, I look out for ones without an anti-aliasing filter, though. Photos are just that much sharper (as with the Leica). Some even get away with it and still don’t have to deal with moire because of new sensor technologies (that’s a hint :-)).

Oh c’mon! I live in Brazil and cameras are stupidly expensive here. I’m going overseas and will buy one this week! :)

It’s hard for me to switch from dslr to mirrorless.
I KNOW it’s my problem etc hehe BUT I still love the feel of the cameras I own. The way the Nikon D90, and D2x fits in my grubby lil hands, just feels right to me.
Holding the mirror less cameras, to me anyways, feels awkward, unbalanced, just not right.
As for the picture quality of the mirror less cameras, I can’t complain about that. they do a good job.for what I use pics for.( IE: facebook, some 8×10 prints etc)
But I am sticking with the dslr bodies. For now anyways…

You should go look at a Cali photographer (Kesler Tran) and a few others before those IQ and handling conclusions. I use the NEX-7 myself and clients are hard pressed to tell the images apart from my Canon kit.
