Love, love, love my EPL2, no, it can’t do some of the stuff my 7d does but the portability and image quality makes it a winner in many situations

This is always because of the way people word it. “Shallow DOF increases as the sensor gets larger”

The DoF decreases not increases with larger sensor ;)

I feel very much the same way as you on the DSLR handling front. It’s hard for me, too, to give up those controls — impossible, in fact, in many cases. I find myself fumbling around all the time with point-and-shoots (and the like) while my friends make fun of me for knowing the ins and outs of the D3, but not being able to turn auto-flash off on the P+S. Sometimes it even makes me laugh, but it’s mostly frustrating…
