The Wednesday Rundown 5.25.11
Howdy, and welcome to the Wednesday Rundown. We have a great group of videos readers have sent in this week. We have a Jessie J inspired shoot, a Karate class shoot, and a really good explanation of histograms. Check out the videos and post some comments. If you have a video that you think we might like to post, please click on “submit content” above.
Understanding Histograms
Greg Cazillo over at www.cazillo.com has created a really good video explaining your histogram. I know a lot of people have no idea how to use their histogram so I think this video will help out a lot. If you think you understand histograms well already, head over to Norman Koren’s site to read the most detailed explanation of RAW files and histograms I’ve ever read.
Shoot Panning Photos:
A detailed video on how to create a “panning” photo. This will allow you to capture your subject in focus but blur your background. This will give the photo more of an action look in the frame and is a great way to put motion in your pictures. See more of their work at linandjirsa.com.
Jessie J. Inspired Shoot:
A shoot inspired by the British singer Jessie J. The location is amazing, it really pushes the beauty and the grunge at the same time. Check out more of thier work and final images at fortysixtyphoto.com
