              Urban photography by Tom Ryaboi

One thing I love about photography is when people take different approaches on it. Tom Ryaboi does that extremely well. Granted, some of these shots are your standard architectural/urban shots, however, most of them are stunning. The main thing I am wondering about Toms shot on the roof of the building, is it real? Composite? What do you guys think?

Here are a few words from Tom:
“For me, photography will always be closely tied to travelling. I like to travel, see the world, where I hope to learn something, grow, and maybe leave something behind. Naturally, somewhere along the line, I wanted to capture some of these moments. The camera allowed me to capture beautiful places, interesting people, and sometimes even myself.
Over time, taking pictures has become closely associated to that blissful place in my mind reserved for travelling. So now, when I’m not travelling, the camera has become my tool for escape, to places I’ve been, and places I want to go. Hopefully I take some of you with me…. where should we go next?” – Tom Ryaboi

Great shots! Looks like he has access to some unique locations most don’t

I’ve read Tom’s story before. The famous rooftopping photo with the legs and converse sneakers is real. I think the only thing he did to it was flip it to make it look more dramatic.

Wow this guy has some serious access to locations…
I liked the IR ones especially. The ones with the guy on the rail and the girl in the tube probably should’ve been left out.
