Martin Schoeller and Matthew Modine Discuss Their Most Iconic Images

I've really been enjoying these episodes of Mark Seliger's discussion-based show called Capture. In this latest installment, you'll get to sit in with one of the most talented photographers around - Martin Schoeller. He tells the stories behind his photographs of Jack Nicholson, Lyle Lovett, Steve Carell, and the breastfeeding mother (that I'm sure you all remember). Actor Matthew Modine also sits in to talk about his photographs. I never knew that he was a photographer, but his work is beautiful. He was encouraged by the one and only Stanley Kubrick to start photographing on the set of Full Metal Jacket. In 2005, Modine has compiled all of his photographs from the film into a book called Full Metal Jacket Diary.

Thanks for sharing this Amy, what a great series, I've been spending most of the afternoon thus far watching the episodes!

In the past of this series I've found the token star to be a bit tiresome and breaks up the interview too much - but Matthew Modeine is a really good one! although that suggests this could easily be 2 separate interviews ;)
