Photo Throwdown New York City Part II Released

Here is the exciting conclusion to the New York City Photo Throwdown episode. Just after their REFOCUS last week, Chris Fain and Jennifer Rozenbaum are now going to get down to the nitty gritty and putting their finger to the shutter to shoot street performer Matthew Silver in the Peter Hurley Studios. YOU decide the winner of this episode of Photo Throwdown!

This episode certainly has a lot more pace and photography than we had in part one. In part one we got to know who our challengers are and their personalities. Now we get to see them sweat and go through their thought process in the middle of an actual shoot. I love the idea of the REFOCUS and watching the photographers think on their feet. That's what being a photographer is all about. Sometimes (heck, most of the time) inspiration happens on set and you just gotta keep working your angles and your subject to be able to make a great image. Well done to they guys who put Photo Throwdown together to package it in a format that even your wife/husband/fiancé/girlfriend/boyfriend will find interesting and entertaining.

If you wanted to see a more detailed look at the shots that both Chris and Jen produced, they were kind enough to share it with the Fstoppers readers. Don't forget to vote as it's you guys who will decide the winner! Details after the shots.

Here is Chris Fain's (#TeamChris) shot.

Here's Jen Rozenbaum's (#TeamJR) shot.

Cast your votes for either Chris or Jen on the official Photo Throwdown page. Voting ends on October 5th, 2014.

I enjoyed part two much more than part one as I'm sure you guys will too. Now that you've seen both, what do you guys think? Sound off in the comments below. The Photo Throwdown crew always love to hear feedback.

Next month the Photo Throwdown crew heads to the west coast; San Diego! Can't wait to see what they have cooked up.
