5 Helpful Dog Photography Tips From The Dogist

Dog photography can be a tremendously fun and rewarding genre, but it also takes a fair amount more skill than it might seem on the surface. Whether it is something you would like to make money from or you are simply trying to capture some nice memories of your own pups, check out this great video tutorial that features an experienced dog photographer sharing five useful tips to improve your work.

Coming to you from Elias Weiss Friedman, better known as The Dogist, with B&H Photo and Video, this helpful video tutorial shares five tips for improving your dog photography. Having photographed over 50,000 dogs in his career, Friedman has a ton of experience to share. Even if you do not plan on doing it professionally, taking the time to capture some nice memories of your own pups is well worth the time. More than anything, be prepared to exercise a lot of patience. You can't treat dogs like human subjects or hold the same expectations of them, and often, it will take you a lot longer to build comfort with them and get the shots you want than you might expect. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Friedman.
