Our behind-the-scenes series on the filming of "Where Art Meets Architecture 3" continues today with episode 6. In this episode, Mike Kelley flies to the Fstoppers office in Charleston to start working on the post-processing portion of this tutorial.
In our BTS series, we try to have a nice balance between information and entertainment. While we're in the field filming, it's easy to include sections from the actual tutorial in each BTS episode. During the post-processing section, keeping things informative is a bit more difficult. Mike actually stayed in Charleston for a month and a half while he worked in Photoshop for this tutorial and because I don't imagine you would want to sit through random clips of Mike working in Photoshop, we've decided to make these final few episodes a bit more about the day to day fun we had in and out of our office.
In this particular episode, Mike works on the first lesson of WAMA 3 which happens to be the most complex photograph any of us had ever tried to teach. Surprisingly this ultra-complicated shot was a standard hotel room. Photographing this room was incredibly complex but putting it together in Photoshop was even more tedious. The final result certainly isn't mind blowing but it will give you a new appreciation for well-produced hotel photography.

Lee, regarding the printing problem, as you figured out it's a driver problem. My guess is that you are using Windows 10 and that f..ing Windows Update messed up with your printer driver installing you a "microsoft made" version of the driver that usually just print and have little if none options. To solve the problem just download the original driver from Canon and install it manually with the setup paying attention to do a custom install to get rid of all the crap they try to install and just leave the driver.
Lee, you said that you're printing from Chrome. Are you using the system dialog to control the printer (short cut: Ctrl+Shift+P)? That will give you access to the printer settings.
Hey Lee, just wanted to say that I know you say that editing these together is a pain in the ass. But myself (and loads of others in the community!) really love watching these BTS episodes, so thank you for putting in the hard work! Thank you so much for this website too, I always look forward to seeing what you guys get up to in these videos.
