If Precise Lines and Architecture Is Your Passion, Check out This Instagram Project!

We all know someone who is obsessed with geometrical precision when it comes to their photographs, and it may even be you! If you want to satisfy your visual taste buds, check out this Instagram project!

When you photograph something that is as aesthetically pleasing as clean lines in architecture, it's undeniable that it may bring you a complete satisfaction whenever you look at the final image. "Celebrating the beauty of architecture with precisely aligned photographs from all over the world", the "Geometry Club" is both an Instagram account that features said photographs from photographers all over the world and also an app, available for iOS users, to help you achieve this kind of precision during the image taking stage.

Brought to us by developer, photographer, and designer Dave Mullen Jnr, from Sheffield, United Kingdom, "Geometry Club" was launched in 2014 and currently has over 150 contributors from as many as 30 countries. The club isn't exclusive as anyone has the opportunity to submit their architecture photographs, so as long as they meet the criteria of symmetrical edges that fall off in the corners and apex is aligned centrally. To be in for a chance of your photograph to be featured, you can submit it directly on "Geometry Club" website. If you are an iPhone user, the "Geometry Club" app will help you align your composition directly in the camera.

The identical composition and the final touch of removing color in each photograph allows the viewer become less distracted with unnecessary details and instead focuses their attention on appreciating the beauty of fluent lines and the unique texture of each building. Not forgetting the sky, the cloud mass also adds another unique element to the image. If you want to view the full collection, take a look on "Geometry Club" Instagram account.

Will you take a moment to look up in the sky and take a photograph next time you're out?

That's fun. I like!

I really like this! I think I'll go out this week and capture some shots to submit!

Definitely! And the man behind the project, Dave Mullen Jnr, is very friendly and nice, makes me want to submit too even though I don't shoot architecture generally!
