Mount Fuji is one of the most iconic locations on the planet and it is often photographed. However, shooting it at sunrise, in the fog, and with a drone are three slightly rarer occurrences, and all feature in this video!
I have an unfettered love for Japan since I first visited in 2018. There are few countries I have visited that have inspired me to have my camera in my hands at all times; it is a beautiful mix of modern and traditional with some stunning nature. Although I enjoy street photography in Tokyo all too much and will gleefully spend hours standing in almost the exact same spot (this happened just 2 weeks ago), there is a lot more to Japan that the bustling metropolitan. Many forget you can ski in Japan!
Arguably the most famous natural beauty in the country is Mount Fuji, visible clearly as you fly in and out of Japan as it breaches the clouds. The area surrounding Mount Fuji is also beautiful, particularly in Spring and Autumn as you get the cherry blossom in the former and the deep red leaves in the latter.

It's a beautiful place, thirty years ago I did a shoot a lake near Mt. Fuji and took a shot at sunrise with a Fuji disposable film camera. There are amazing waterfalls close by, I went exploring and took more shots. It's too bad that the traffic around Kyoto has caused the locals to limit photography around the Golden Temple.
