What's the Best Email Marketing Platform for 2019?

Even though we spend more and more time on social media and other networking platforms, email is still by far the best and most useful way to grow your business and get your work out there. So what platforms are you using in 2019?

One of the things I plan to spend a lot of my time on in 2019 is taking my email marketing and newsletter to the next level. I've spent years doing marketing consulting work for all types of photographers designing and setting up their campaigns. When it comes to my own, however, I've been kind of lazy.

So I've been researching what new platforms are available that might help improve my automation and get more done without me getting to carried away with time investment. I still need to take pictures after all.

Justin Brown over at Primal Video takes a look at the different software they have been using over the years and tests out some new ones to see what will work best for them in 2019. Brown's two picks? ConvertKit and ActiveCampaign. Both of which I was not familiar with before watching this video.

Automating your marketing can be complicated at first and picking the right platform up front will save you time and effort. So videos like this are a big help in deciding on which software to go with. Currently, I am using Aweber and although I have been very happy with it in the past I'm interested in trying something different.

What software are you using for your email marketing? What tips and tricks have you found to save you time in your efforts?

I want to see more ;)

Hey Micheal! Great video, there are a lot of options to choose from, this helps. These two are great options for photographers who really want to dive in, and make learning email marketing a big focus in their business.

On the other end of the spectrum, for those photographers that really don't want to dig into the details of complicated nerdy workflows (like you and I do) we launched StickyEmail last year.

One of the biggest problems we heard over the years of why photographers aren't doing more with Email Marketing, is because they simply don't know what to write - or where to start.

So to help solve that, we have curated a library of PRE-WRITTEN email sequences just for photographers (broken down by niche) I'd love to show you more!
