Many professionals and creatives today swear by Apple's MacBook Pro to get the job done. Apple's professional-level laptops are known for their reliability, battery life, and ease of use, but it’s rare for them to go on sale. Currently, there’s a fantastic deal up to $900 off basic and some custom 2017 Apple MacBook Pro configurations.

Your opening sentence "Many professionals and creatives today swear by Apple's MacBook Pro to get the job done." While true, depending on definition of many. A more correct word would have been "some".

As written it gives one a different impression of all apple products, except iPhone. So the movement is away from MacBook Pro to PC laptops. That is the real reason there is a sale on MacBook.

I am not saying Mac are bad, better or worse. It's just the facts. The reason is Apple has abandoned all products except iPhone.

This model has the bad keyboard that can quickly render it useless followed by waiting days or weeks or Apple to replace the keyboard with another of the same bad design. $900 discount wouldn’t be enough for me. Avoid this one and get a 2018 or pre-2016.

And it's still overpriced :-)

Actually, MacBooks go on sale more now than ever. The latest MacBook pros have had $200 price cuts on and off for a while.
