Magnum’s First Online Photography Course Is Launching Soon

The renowned independent photo agency Magnum is getting ready to launch its first online photography course: "The Art of Street Photography."

Since 1947, Magnum photographers have been witnessing and documenting the major events in the world history. The agency has been representing the best photojournalists and documentary photographers since its establishment, and the content they provide to global media has always been iconic. Magnum has been organizing workshops globally for long time, but this is the first time the agency will launch an online course and reach more people worldwide.

"The Art of Street Photography" course will include 10 video lessons about all aspects of street photography, including subjects such as framing, people, discovering alternative approaches, and creating meaningful images in the editing. The lessons will be demonstrated by renowned Magnum photographers, including Martin Parr, Bruce Gilden, Susan Meiselas, Richard Kalvar, Carolyn Drake, Mark Power, and Peter van Agtmatel. Through the course, they will share their experience and insights on location.

The actual release date and fees of the course have not been announced by Magnum, but you can subscribe to the course page for a chance to win a free copy.
