Creating a successful video takes a combination of a wide variety of factors, ranging from storytelling, to lighting, to editing, and more. This fantastic video will give you 11 different ways to improve the quality of your videos.

Even if you are already a photographer, tackling video can be a daunting thing. It takes careful control of everything from exposure and other basic parameters to lighting, pacing of the edit, and more. One important thing that I always have to watch out for is not going overboard with editing. It is easy, particularly when you are new to video and starting to become proficient, to go a bit overboard with effects and transitions in the editing process. Generally, erring on the side of being a bit more conservative in the edit will yield more digestible results for your viewers. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
