Like it or not, winter is upon us, and while you may not enjoy the freezing cold temperatures and snow, they do bring with them the opportunity for lots of stunning landscape photography. Though I loathe the cold, I have to admit that I look forward to the abstract and otherworldly images offered by the snow and ice. While I definitely enjoy traditional landscape photography in the winter months, I have found that I most love shooting with a drone. Getting an aerial view can really bring into relief the interesting geometry and formations and give you a new perspective on things.
